One Waterside Place has made the shortlist for the second consecutive year in the Regeneration category in the 2022 Love Chesterfield Awards.

Alongside One Waterside Place, Badger Croft housing complex in Loundsley Green, and Belvedere House Care Home have also been shortlisted for the prestigious award, which is sponsored by BHP Chartered Accountants who are set to become tenants in the new Grade A office block which opens later this year.

The Regeneration Award celebrates businesses that have made a meaningful impact to the built environment for the benefit of Chesterfield and the people who live and work in the borough.

Construction of One Waterside Place began in late 2020 through funding brought forward by Chesterfield Borough Council. The Council’s investment in One Waterside Place was designed to kick-start the town’s economic recovery from Covid-19 and also spearhead major developments around the train station as part of the council’s Station Masterplan.

Delivery of the seven storey Grade A office space has been overseen by project delivery partner Bolsterstone Group.

Tom Swallow, Development Manager, Bolsterstone Group PLC, commented: “It’s a really exciting time to be helping towards the bigger plans for Chesterfield with the other great developments that are underway in the town centre, we are all delighted that One Waterside Place is once again part of the final three for the Regeneration Award.”

The winner of the Regeneration Award, in addition to 14 categories will be announced at a glittering black-tie awards ceremony which is being held at the Winding Wheel Theatre on Wednesday 12 October 2022.
