173 high quality homes are set to be built at Chesterfield Waterside, after Chesterfield Borough Council granted planning permission to Avant Homes for the new £36 million development.
Located on Brimington Road just off the A61, the 12-acre former timber yard site will form a key part of the new residential area at Waterside. Avant’s development will be part of ‘The Park’ area of the scheme and will be the largest Avant Homes development to date in the Chesterfield area.
Named Waterside Quarter, the development is set to include a mixture of Avant Homes’ contemporary, two, three and four-bedroom homes, designed for modern living, across 11 different house types. Groundworks are due to commence in July with the first homes ready for occupation in June 2020.

Avant Homes Central is located at Holmewood Business Park on Chesterfield Road. Its development operations cover South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
