Significant progress is being made in respect of the delivery of the first new office building at Basin Square, which will represent the first step in delivering the commercial element of the Chesterfield Waterside vision.
As well as the detached office building, Phase 1 Basin Square will comprise a hotel, circa 330 built to rent apartments and a multi-storey car park.
The initial construction phase will see the delivery of circa 35,000ft² of Grade A office accommodation with floorplates to suit requirements from 2,500ft² upwards. As well as office accommodation, the seven-storey building also offers ground floor retail space with completion of the building anticipated in 2022.
In addition to the progress at Basin Square, earlier this year Avant Homes began construction of 173 two, three and four bedroom homes in the Waterside Quarter neighbourhood of the development which will be release for sale in 2020.
