
Christmas events are back for 2021 and, with the town fully geared up for a month of festivities, people are ready to celebrate.
The virtual Amazing Magical Chesterfield Santa House and the Chesterfield Elf Trail have both returned this year as has dining out and Santa himself, who is putting in an appearance at Vicar Lane Shopping Centre.
For your shopping needs, the plethora of independent retailers are sure to have something to suit every taste and budget – there’s even a Christmas Gift Guide to help you out. Or, if it’s food you’re after, everything from the turkey and vegetables to the finest cheese and crackers is available on Chesterfield’s high street.
With in-person events returning this year, there’s something to suit everyone, including:
– The Chesterfield Pantomime – Beauty and the Beast – fun for all the family at the historic Pomegranate Theatre.
– Santa’s Grotto at Vicar Lane – meet Santa himself
– Chesterfield’s open air market – Open Monday – Saturday, the market will also be open Sunday 12th and 19th December for food, gifts and accessories
– Santa Special Cruises – cruise along Chesterfield Canal, just walking distancer from Waterside Quarter at Chesterfield Waterside
– Carol singing at the world-famous Crooked Spire Church.
